Collen Redwing comprises a dynamic construction company boasting a team of directors each with a wealth of experience in the industry.The Directors of both Collen and Redwing Construction decided to blend their respective experience and youth to form a company which would compete in the South East Construction market focusing on the General Contracting and Fit-out Sectors.
From their base in Crawley, West Sussex, they are ideally placed to service new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects throughout London and the South East Counties.
Established in 1810, Collen Construction is a family owned business with a strong reputation for building quality and excellence. The Company is renowned for constructing some of Ireland’s landmark building and civil engineering projects, including the RDS in Dublin, Kylemore Abbey in Connemara, much of Dublin Port and part of the Great Northern Railway.
Recent projects include fast track data centres, high specification medical care facilities, social, affordable and high end residential projects, multi-storey office developments and a wide spectrum of leisure and community projects.
Collen has longstanding relationships with a number of clients and consultants built up over the years, ensuring the company has remained at the forefront of Irish construction for two centuries. To build on this success Collen has recently been seeking to expand its frontiers into the UK.
Redwing Construction was formed in 2005 and has quickly established a reputation for delivering projects on time, to the required quality and within budget. This level of service has lead to repeat business and a number of clients inviting us to become involved in larger and more complex construction projects, it is these opportunities which encouraged Redwing to join forces with their colleagues at Collen.
Collen acquired 50% of the equity in Redwing and the company was re-named Collen Redwing in April 2011. This has strengthened the existing firm’s financial base and enables it to seek larger projects. The management experience and staff of Collen in Ireland are available to Collen Redwing to deliver any project works secured.
